The hotel is a beautiful old-world resort that offers a great setting for a getaway. However, I was disappointed with the service and responsiveness during our stay, particularly for a hotel at this price point. The dining experience at Mels was fantastic, making it a highlight of our trip. While I appreciate the history and charm of the property, the lack of attentiveness from the staff was frustrating.

Rooms
5.0
Our room was the smallest we've had here, filled with too much furniture that made it tough to move around comfortably. The windows opened, which was a plus, but the smell from the prep kitchen next door really detracted from our experience.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the front desk staff was not very accommodating. Despite our high expectations, they failed to ensure our reservation at the restaurant and lacked the level of service I anticipated for the price we paid.

The hotel offers a beautiful setting and historic charm, but my recent stay was marred by significant issues regarding room quality and noise disturbances. While the service from the dining staff was commendable, the overall experience felt diminished due to the accommodations' condition. Considering the price point, I expected a more comfortable and restful environment.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms are showing signs of age, with some needing updating and improvements for better comfort, such as resolving noise issues and enhancing privacy.
